I have supported Product Managers in my career and have been engaged in data investigation work to evaluate:
• product performance
• marketing opportunities
• compliance breaches from a data perspective
The source of most of this information comes from Policy Administration System (PAS) data. Some of the data spans across different PAS datasets and requires grouping together and normalisation to enable accurate reporting.
I use MS Access and SQL to satisfy these types of requests.
In some cases, I develop routines to create unique keys and foreign keys to glean data from different sources together as part of the same reporting investigation.
